San Antonio Chair

This concept came from a rapid design challenge I undertook for a job application. I sought a position on the design team of a nationwide distributor of patio furniture, and for the final round of interviews I was tasked with conceptualizing several types of deep seating lounge chairs. After analyzing the signature style of the brand and the market overall, I ideated and CAD modeled my designs over the course of five days. This was my final concept, which got its name through happenstance—on the final day of the challenge, I was visiting San Antonio for work.
